A total of 9,001 "Sheikh Russell Digital Labs" have been set up in educational institutions across the country through the Sheikh Russell Digital Lab Establishment Project (2nd Phase) under the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology. A total of 36,020 teachers, 04 each from each institution receiving "Sheikh Russell Digital Lab" for management, use and maintenance of labs, are being trained for 10 days on "ICT in Education Literacy, Troubleshooting and Maintenance". Besides, 1800 (one thousand eight hundred) teachers will be given training on Frontier Technology for 21 days and 15,000 (fifteen thousand) teachers will be trained on Learning Management System, Digital Content and Attendance for 02 days.
An initiative has been taken to impart training on freelancing/outsourcing to interested teachers who have received training from the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology to acquire more skills by utilizing the said training.
